The identification is believed to be correct and is based on our understanding in Nov 2025 that the original rear fuselage of 9893 was moved to the Kent Battle of Britain Museum in Hawkinge in 2018 as part of a project to build a static example. A static restoration at Duxford is using some parts of 9893 (including the forward fuselage) and some from the remains of G-MKIV including it's rear fuselage
