First flown at Prestwick 25 July 1983 as G-31-615. Handed over to McAlpine Aviation as G-BKVU at Cranfield 1 September for completion at Luton but cancelled and returned to Prestwick 3 September. Modified to Series 3101 and reflown 19 October 1983 as G-31-615. Delivered to Jetstream International 16 February 1984 as N822JS for operation as Piedmont Commuter.
