Built 1953 for the Pakistan Air Force, it was sold to Straits Air Freight Express. ZK-CLU Merchant Buccaneer made the last SAFE air freighter flight across the Cook Straits on 30 September 1986. Upon landing on Wakapuaka she was disassembled and towed along the main road to Founders Heritage Park
