KZ III is a Danish designed and built 2-seat light utility airplane with a British 4-cylinder Blackburn Cirrus Minor II engine. 2 KZ III prototypes and 64 production versions were built between 1944 and 1947. 2 KZ IIIs were used by the Danish air force as liaison planes from 1946 to 1951. The KZ III seen in the photo was built in 1946 and registered as OY-DVE in 1946. Sold to Sweden in 1979, became SE-BIS. Sold back to Denmark and registered as OY-DVE in 2012.
