The first Virgin Australia aircraft to be retrofitted with scimitar winglets. The other 19 examples in the 'VH-YI*' registration block will be progressively similarly upgraded. The aircraft will be operated on services to New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, Bali and some longer domestic routes such as Perth and Darwin to East Coast ports.
