Year a guess. Original by C S Waterfall. From a correspondent - I think this photo was taken earlier than 1954. I learnt to fly with Bristol and Wessex in April 1954 on this aircraft, which I don’t think was in two colours at the time. I think it was pale yellow all over, with maroon registration letters. I don’t think there were 2 Tiger Moths there at the time either but I think there was an Auster. The aircraft was not fitted for instrument flying training when I was flying it. The Chief Instructor at the time was Harry Armitage.
