In 1986, the aircraft, which had been outside the Aviodome museum building since 1970, was restored by KLM. That is why the aircraft was given a KLM colour scheme, representing PH-TCB, as you see in this picture, taken in the KLM hangar. The aircraft then returned to the Aviodome museum, where it would be on display inside the museum building. It was not until 1995 that the aircraft was made airworthy again. In 1997, the aircraft was taken over by the DDA.
