Photographed during Helifest '91 at Duxford, this Jet Ranger was participating in a competition involving various 'celebrities', in this case with the then Radio 1 DJ Bruno Brooks. The helicopter was built in 1974 and was previously registered G-BOUY, after this photgraph was taken she became G-OBRU then G-LGRM. Unfortunately she was destroyed in an accident whilst conducting a pipeline survey in North Wales on the 11th September 2000, fortunately the pilot and observer escaped with minor injuries. This photograph shows the wirestrike protection system above the windshield and under the chin bubble.
