Built in 1957 for the US Navy with Bu.No. 37550. After military service she was registered N7251C and converted as a Malethion sprayer. Malethion is an insecticide used to control mosquitoes and a variety of insects that attack fruit and vegetables. She was retired from this role in 1986. In February 2004 she was evaluated by the Wisconsin Wing of the Commemorative Air Force for possible restoration. Unfortunately due to spending nearly two decades stored outside in the Arizona heat she was deemed to be beyond economical repair. She is now owned by the United States Airpower Museum in Fresno, California. Maybe her days aren't numbered after all?
