Operation Swifter RAF El Adem. The tall fellow standing up is PO M Simmons (later ACM Sir Michael). The chap showing some fingers is Flt. Lt TE Gill (Later Sqdn. Ldr and Hon. Secy. 249 Sqdn Assoc. The 3rd Person is almost certainly Flt.Lt Mike Smith (6 Sqdn) not to be confused with Jim Smith, (Terry Gill's navigator)who submitted the pic. The nose is now preserved with the Boulton Paul Heritage Trust, Wolverhampton.
